Even aside from this canopy (which I love) This nursery is very beautiful and interesting

I saw a diy on here a little while ago on some adorable clouds...you could always try that! I love poms...they are such a cheap and easy way to brighten up a room :)

Using acrylic is absolutely stupid...a water based paint would be MUCH easier to clean off!

Even though I happen to have a masters from crafts university, I think these are darling ;) especially those tissue poms! Way to be festive without being too wasteful or extravagant

I'm absolutely in LOVE with this nursery...it's just so well done! What a lovely room, perfect for a baby, but it will grow with her so well. What a very lucky little girl

The imagery of a small child "carefully" throwing a fit is hilarious...I bet they learned really fast. What a fun and nice looking space.

I agree about the photos. Beautiful room, and beautiful photos too...but you can't even really tell what color the walls are in some pics...

You could just put a rail along the side to keep you son from falling off. But I also really like the idea of using the loft for storage...you should post some pictures if you decide to go that route. I'm curious about it now...

I love this! I don't think I would ever actually buy it, even if I had the extra cash just lying around...but I still love this! It put a smile on my face, even though it is definitely absurd. And I laughed a little at the thought of bubble bath.

But...are there seriously little ones who *need* a jetted tub? Like maybe for a medical condition? Just curious...

I like this room. That shade of blue that is on/around the desk is a bit much for me...but then again it isn't my room. I absolutely ADORE those curtains...any ideas on where they came from?

I mostly agree about not telling people about collections, except one of the things that I collect are antique skeleton keys. That is the only collection that I let people "help" me with, but that is because they are a little different than ordinary collections. They are small, easy to contain, and I have never seen one that I don't like. A good friend of mine gave me a lovely bronze one for part of my Christmas present one year. Sometimes it's very nice to have help with a collection :)

I love them all...but oh what a precious little piggy! It makes me sad to see such a sick little baby...I also hope she's feeling better!

I find news like this so unsettling...sometimes it seems like nothing we expose our children to is ever really safe. I would like to raise my daughter in a relatively safe environment without feeling neurotic...and by safe I mean with minimum exposure to toxic chemicals. That doesn't seem like much to ask for.

If money wasn't an object, I would love to put my baby to sleep in a beautiful silk bed. Who wouldn't? This bassinet is beautiful and looks like it would be heaven to sleep in.

AT has some pretty harsh critics. I think you made some big improvements with very little money and resources. It's not my style, and I wouldn't do my own bathroom this way, but I have no doubt in my mind that your parents were amazed. Judging from the before picture, your parents aren't super modern hipsters who love sterile spaces...yes it has lots of accessories, but I don't see what's so wrong with that. It seems like your mom and dad like having lots of accessories, and that's who this space is about after all. I think you did a really good job.
