Not many people can pull off this wall color... but you did it beautifully. Unlike some of the other entries, I would enter this space and feel comfortable. It's serene, happy, and tasteful. Cathy's "Always Sunny in Portland" Room |

Oh the rug... the rug... the rug... what a splendid rug! And the creative use of wall space! This is a very creative room, which is why I love it! Annie's "Maine Shoreline" Room |

This room represents everything I've tried (and failed) to accomplish in my bedroom. Great room. Lindy's "Divine Providence" Room |

This is a very awesome space, I love the colors, the use of vintage items, and the explosed brick. The coffee table is especially cool. With some better pictures and a bit more "set up," I think you've got a winner! Lindsay's "Sunny Boho " Studio |

I had the same problem a few years ago! I settled on an ice cream maker. I am so glad I bought it! People are still talking about my dark choc raspberry ice cream I brought to a bday party years ago! And now that I don't eat dairy, I can make my own soy/almond/coconot/etc milk ice creams that actually taste good. Help Me Spend $100 at Williams-Sonoma! Good Questions |

I have the 5-shelf black ones from Kmart (no wood, just metal) and they look great! Kmart had those square canvas bins on sale too, which fit perfectly on the shelves. I bought the dark purple and black bins which makes the shelving unit look really sharp. If put together properly, they are sturdy. Best Product: Inexpensive Industrial Shelving |

That's it! I'm adding lime to my palette. The rug is amazing, it looks nubbly. Joanne's "Lime & Teal" Living Room |

@ Lady J, I used to love that chair until I painted my walls, now it doesn't work and I will be re-uphostering it very soon! @SQ, you're right, I should have continued the orange around the wall, it didn't occur to me until you said so, I think that would look much better. @krl2876 yes, the zebra print is from Ikea. @Miata, I haven't noticed the color do anything to people's faces. In fact, when my blue eyed friend Kathryn sits on my couch I want to take a picture of her because her brilliant eyes pop with the aqua behind her. Emily's "Fire Island" Room |

I just modified this for breakfast with things I had in my fridge: a whole wheat tortilla with eggs, turkey bacon, asparagus, shallots, garlic and used fresh goat cheese. Love the twist on a breakfast wrap/quesadilla. Cara's Spinach-Pie Quesadillas Quick Weeknight Meals Recipe Contest 2009 |

Love it! My apartment is very similar, a touch more modern/less shabby chic, but very similar colors (white!), lots of DIY. I have an almost exact replica of the wall with all the framed pictures, but in my bedroom. I even have the yellow Keep Calm and the Smile prints. And we're name twins. ha! ~Emily in Seattle Emily's Light & Bright Shabby Chic House Tour |

If you aren't vegetarian and want to try pho with chicken, this is a great base recipe because it's super flavorful. I made the following adjustments: fish sauce for soy sauce, shredded chicken for tofu, chicken stock for veggie stock, and bok choy and shiitakes for carrots. I saw another recipe that used shallots, so I tried that instead of regular onions, for more depth of flavor. The charring of the ginger and onion, as well as the spices, are most important, don't shortcut that part! Thanks for a great, versatile recipe! Recipe: Vegetarian Pho (Vietnamese Noodle Soup) |
