I've had large parties where I prepared pulled pork, BBQ chicken and ribs with tons of sides. At the first party, so many people only ate half of their PP sandwich. For subsequent events, I used smaller rolls so there would be less waste.

I have that EXACT ottoman...purchased for $1.00 at a garage sale. It has been sitting in my garage for 6 years! I love it and will re-furbish it, as soon as I find a place to use it!

Please say there's going to be a "channel" where we can just read EVERYTHING, in nice neat chronological order!
I agree with NITEDULA:
"I'm a woman of simple tastes: I like to go to a blog and just scroll down, reading every interesting-looking post until I hit something I've already seen and thus know I've read everything new since my last visit. I already get mildly annoyed by having to jump between five different sites to catch up; now there will be seven?! Yes, fine, they're "channels" of a single site, but it amounts to the same thing. And the "Main" channel will only have highlights, so I'll never know what I'm missing if I just read that."

If I go to each channel, I notice repetition:I guess some posts fall into more than one category ("channel") so I have to see the posts repeated. I am not change-averse, but this change would require much too much of my time. The former layout just seems more streamlined. Me no-likey.

Paint the hardware black; do a *light distressing with sandpaper then use a stained paste wax all-over to highlight the details; finish with a coat or two of clear paste wax. This type of look (with instructions) is all over the DIY/Thrift blogosphere.
Miss Mustard Seed is one that comes to mind but there are plenty other blogs that have shown this technique. It's a great little table!
