Thanks for the lovely comment Andy! I hope you're doing well!!

I made the artwork above my desk, it's a thrift store re-vamp, I blogged about it way back in 2009! (has it been that long!?) Thrift Art Saved

Thanks everyone! The wall color is "Gray Beard" by Olympic paints - it's the best. I found the milk glass dishes at thrifts shops. Ryan - I'll have to find your stories now!

Hey - that's my yellow kitchen!

I love Thonet chairs. I found the one shown at a thrift store and refinished it, though I could never verify it was an authentic Thonet, it's very old though, and is possibly a Fischel or a Kohn.

I posted before pics here: http://www.theredjet.net/2009/05/bentwood-chair-thonet-fischel.html

I agree with JMILL9584 - Pinterest is great, but requires a little bit of effort to "follow" and "unfollow" the right folks to get to the good stuff! It's also nice to get an overview of what your style is - looking back at what you're pinning can be pretty revealing. Sadly, I've noticed more and more companies joining - get ready for endless product pushing.

Nice!! I think the matching light covers is what makes it look more sophisticated than just epoxying random glassware. Awesome job.

Do you have a door that typically stays open? My solution is to have the items on an easy to see rack on the back of a usually open door, that way it's out of view most of the time. Maybe I have more doors than most folks, though....?

I have some of the Reidel Vivant glasses from Target, and they're nice crystal glasses for a good price - they feel more expensive than they are!

I got to Target at 8:10 and it was nearly all gone - piled high in carts of a handful of women! They were taking everything and sorting out what they wanted later on. The stuff I could see was hit or miss quality-wise, some if it really was poorly made. I got my umbrella and tote bag and got the heck out of there.

I also can't believe that at 11am this morning, there was already tons of it on ebay - with ludicrous prices. Greedy opportunists!

Hello modelreject - it's a vintage piece that I scored from my landlord. Unfortunately I don't know it's origins or maker, but I have seen some like it on ebay.

JulianneMay - It is hard to find balance, I think that's why my apartment is always changing as my tastes change, but I think I've always leaned towards the more is more approach, ha ha!

Hi Everyone! I was busy, then sick for a few days and didn't notice my apt was posted!

I'll try to answer all the questions. My shower curtains are from Ikea, I made the coffee table, the LR rug is Fez from Flor (I cut it into triangles), I made the plant shelves and the floral pillow I made from fabric samples from work. Most of my projects are detailed on my blog.

I will have to try to find the paint colors when I get home, some of them were done by the landlord.

Thank you for the lovely comments! It does look a bit cluttered in these pics, but not as much in real life. I'd never call myself a minimalist though, ha ha.
