I have a Norah too! I call mine Norah Begorra all the time... Begorra is Irish for "By God" and it often used as either an expletive or to take an oath. Just wanted to share. Its a great room! My Room: Norah Tulare, CA |

I bought the cannon point and shoot on good reviews, and I returned it and got a Sony cybershot. I just felt that it took pictures quicker and they were less blurry. I don't know about you, but my kids are fast and I need a camera that takes quick pictures! A friend of mine was so impressed by the clarity of my pictures ( I sent her a picture of a photo of us from high school, she thought I had scanned it!) that she went out and bought one of her own! We did something similar to this for my MIL and FIL one year for Mother's and Father's days. But with a twist! My brother got up on the roof and took pictures of my SIL, DH, DD, and myself making letters out of our bodies. We spelled out "Super Deluxe Dad!" For my FIL (he says super deluxe a lot). So we made all the letters once, printed out 3 D's, 2 U's, 3 E's...you get the point. WE even had my daughter be the middle part of the A and the dot at the bottom of the "!" . I cut out each of the letters and made a sort of collage in a big frame with small pics that represented hobbies all around (guitar, tent, canoe). They LOVED them! For the mothers day one, I cut out a TON of flowers from magazines to decorate the surround. Make a Photo Series With Letters Photography |

The easiest way to remove black cooked on stains is fabric softener. Either put boiling water and a sheet of fabric softener in the offending pan, or water and liquid softener. Soak for a while, scrub off. How To Clean Tough Burnt Stains Off Stainless Cookware Home Hacks |

11. Water proof bed pads. The big kind for kids who pee the bed. These are AWESOME. Can be used before baby to sit on in the car or sleep on in case of water breaking, and after baby to sleep on because of nursing leaks and baby blow outs. I use on on the kids beds if they are having bed wetting issues! Tried and True Baby Essentials Recommendations Good Questions |

I am pregnant with baby number 5. I thought we were done with daughter #4, so I got rid of everything as soon as she grew out of them. I am wondering if the easiest solution would be to have a rubber stamp made with whatever names you want on it and you could stamp right onto bias tape from the fabric store with either fabric paint or permanent stamp pad ink (you will have to wash test this) and just sew the cut bias tape in with your sewing machine. Don't knock the walker too much! My brother has cerebral palsy and my mother found the walker to be a great tool. He was able to easily explore his surroundings without being frustrated by his physical limitations. Eventually he got the hang of walking and managing to balance, and i am not sure this product delayed his walking at all. If anything, it gave him impudence to learn to walk, even though the doctors said he never would! Jump Baby Walker by Wonjune SongSlinks: n. I have 4 children and visiting the grandparents is a drag. My Mother in law throws out any baby proofing things we leave at her house (all the night lights, outlet covers, anything that makes my life easier) and so I have to transport everything there every time I go there. My mother doesn't seem to think a 50 lb wooden chinese lacquered screen might be dangerous (when I am constantly telling her that me catching it from falling on the baby is not ok). It is exhausting, so I would rather drive up the hour and a half, spend the day, then drive back home that night that be on constant duty. I would suggest contacting a local handy man and using their expertise. The one link I saw above was $700, and I know you could have someone make one for $200 or so. People would be happy to help you out, especially with a recession on. I wanted to make 4 wall shelves I saw in pottery barn for $60 each, and I went into my local lumber store, showed a drawing to the person behind the counter and walked out an hour later with all the materials to build 4 for $35. Going with a local handyman or DIY would be the way I go. Searching for Montessori-style Infant StaircaseGood Questions | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I always try to make healthy meals and just grind up my own baby food in a food mill. The one I love best is by kidco. I own three. One is in the diaper bag and two are in rotation at the house. I have used these for all four of my kids, and I am always surprised when someone (at a restaurant or at a dinner party) has never seen one!
