Yay! Thanks :)

@Tracy333 yep, it's the view. Thought about putting it on the wall or getting rid of it. :)

@ChristineOC I found a free vector map online and then a friend [who worked at a print company] made it for me with a large-format printer onto canvas.

@Raddlesnack it's a studio, the dotted line in the floor plan is where the ceiling is slightly inset (viewable in the main pic).

I've never been a huge beets fan, but have recently been enjoying Brazilian black beans, beets & rice. For me, it helps to have them as a complement to a dish instead of the main attraction. ;)

I have a strong dislike for butterflies (as a pattern etc, not in the wild!), but this is strangely attractive! Very cool.

@GreaterYesterday thanks for the Italian Parsley tip!

Since writing about the jalapenos they've really taken off. We have about 20 peppers growing at the moment. Perhaps they're liking our late summer Pacific NW heat!

The cherry, grape and golden are all overflowing, but the the early girl (go figure) and roma are struggling still! I made Tomatoes Provencal, a great way to use up extra tomatoes! http://twitpic.com/gcmju

I have a set of stemless Riedel, [which I love!] and I use them for all wines. I stick to <$20 wines anyway, so I figure a nice Riedel glass is good universal glass for someone like me. :)

I tried durian in Singapore and as long as you plug your nose it's fine... :) There were signs in the MRT in Singapore prohibiting durians though. Hilarious!

Spanish tortilla -- kind of like a frittata with potatoes, onions and eggs -- is a really good (and filling) brunch option. I've been a vegetarian my entire life (I eat fish now though), so no-meat breakfasts is standard! Other ideas: fruits, cupcakes or muffins (easily made without dairy). Good luck!

I've used Photoworks.com (the Seattle company) for some large format wall prints and they turned out great. I was a little nervous after using snapfish previously for smaller prints (that didn't turn out that great). Just make sure you submit really high-quality images.

Pasta with Roasted Summer Vegetables and Basil with most of the ingredients from my garden! I've also been "stealing" sweet peas from the garden on a daily basis. :) I love summer!

yep, jewelry is a big one for me too. I've never been too keen on knick-knacks, so usually I gravitate towards home goods, like pillow covers & material (some countries are easier than others... Turkey & Morocco are both brilliant for home goods!)
