I'd love to know if any of you who purchased this mattress are still happy with it 2 years later?

Hurom. Period. the end. Its a slow juicer, Williams/Sonoma and probably Amazon sell it. It's incredible. You do have to cut veggies/fruit into smaller pieces, but the juice that comes out is smooth and this bad boy can handle anything as long as you cut it up. We've had it almost a year and use it every week. Comes with a 10 year warranty on the blade. A friend has one of the fast juicers that can take whole carrots and he's jealous of ours. Additionally, if you ever juice kiwis and bananas, the pulp that comes out is essentially baby food, and the yummy mush you'll taste!

Make sure you have pickled jalapeno and carrots on the table. My in laws are Mexican and having those with a bite of Turkey is now one of my favorite things! Salsa on the table is always a good call.
In terms of dishes tortilla turkey soup? Spicy gravy? Margaritas? I recommend stuffing made with chorizo.

Kay Jay - thank you so much for your perspective! I have been wondering about this since watching the show.

On one hand you have the first lady now promoting this idea of healthy eating along with countless others who are doing the best to get healthy foods into schools, yet the USDA and the government seem to be stabbing progress in the back! Once again, they are tying your hands so that they can give more corn to chickens and make large companies and large scale farms rich! It sound like everything in a school lunch is related to corn in one way or another!

I think the thing on the show that broke my heart was the little girl in the season finale whose parents thought sending her to school with candy and 2 kinds of potato chips was acceptable. I'm aware that times are tight financially for some, but that broke my heart. THOSE are the parents Jamie and other need to be talking to, not any of us reading this.

I HATE wasting food, and will eat to the point of feeling over full because of it. I'm aware of it, and am trying to be better, but I was brought up in a household where you finished everything, so I still do. There were nights when I had to eat extra ketchup because I took too much. And there were nights where I was left alone at the dinner table to eat kidney bean salad, I still don't like kidney beans.

I've had this discussion with many friends from many backgrounds and I have one friend who was taught to always leave 2 bites of food on her plate because it was "socially acceptable", aka they were wealthy and to show that they weren't starving at home, they ate slowly, politely and always left two bites.

I say we should all learn to stop BEFORE we are full, slow down when we eat(I'm STILL working on this!), and be careful to TASTE our food, something I think doesn't get discussed enough. My boyfriend is so good at picking out each flavor in a bite.

No offense to anyone that bought one - but stick some chopsticks in a glass and call it a day. This gadget seems like a waste of money, although effective.

I would pick a rich fabric, maybe a velvet and make it the walls. A friend did this to his basement and it looks awesome! It would add insulation and give it a nice, comfortable feeling. You could also do the same with a light, cotton, fabric on the ceiling. You could paint the front of the cabinets (the white part) to add some color. Maybe also a hanging plant?

This article reminded me that I should use my iphone to try to drown out the street noise in my place!

If you have an iphone the Ambiance app is the best! They add 10 new sounds a month so you can sleep with whatever noise you'd like - water crashing on the beach, the sound of a Ferrari, morning in Hong Kong, a campfire. Usually I fall asleep to the campfire or rain in a forest and wake up to the waves crashing on the beach. So peaceful....
