my proudest sewing moment...took an old pair of bell bottoms and made into a skirt by cutting along the knees then taking the leftover pieces and filling in the areas above...my girlfriends totally drooled over my creation and it cost me next to nothing to make! i used my mother's sewing machine and had absolutely no training but was able to create the skirt...this childhood moment came back to me a few years ago and it hit me...i'm good at making clothes and i would totally enjoy doing it for the rest of my life! currently i am working on a children's clothing company and am totally enjoying every step of it!

3) I just moved into a new apartment with the boyfriend and we don't have much money to decorate. We bought the essentials but our walls look completely bare! I'm working on my office at the moment, love love LOVE brocade home but their wall paper is just outrageously priced! I was VERY close to buying stencils and painting the iron vine like detailing onto my wall but then stumbled across this site. and boy am I glad I did. Definitely saved me HOURS of torture painting on those detailed designs myself. whew! I would love to add the iron vine and chandelier design in my office to complete the look that i have at the moment, white desk, white shelving, white bright framed posters, plan on accenting the room with bright flowery items...a real feminine look. love it! the birdies would go in my bedroom since i'm such a high flying dreamer!
