This isn't exactly a journal but I use www.OhLife.com It's an online journal that sends you an e-mail reminder each evening at 8:00 pm to remind you to write an entry for that day. A few days a week I write a note or letter to my daughter who is 17 months old, you can also upload a picture you've taken that day. There is a feature that will allow you to get your posts printed in a book format. This is easiest for me because I get a reminder to do it and can do it directly from my iPhone or laptop.
