Maybe this is a pre-kid, 20-something thing, but I swear to god I can't get people to show up to a party on time, even if I make a point of telling the guests that I'm cooking for them and that the food will be ready at the appointed time. @battra92 Depending on what kind of battery that camera took, you can still make it work! I just bought a Yashica Electro that originally took a 5.7v battery, which isn't made anymore. Instead, I bought a 6v battery from Amazon. To make up for the width difference, wrap it in cereal box cardboard. To make up the height difference, place a conductive spring at the bottom. Voila! A note to anyone who might consider doing this with a vintage quilt they have strong, positive feelings for: don't. This is a terrible way to store a quilt, unless you don't mind if it falls apart. The pull of gravity will put serious stress on the top of the textile, eventually causing fraying, holes, torn seams. Also, light damage (bleaching.) I'd caution anyone interested in making mead at home to actually try a lot of mead before you attempt brewing it. In my experience it's a pretty polarizing drink—some people swear by it, some people thinks its straight grossness. I'm in the grossness camp and discovered that after going to the effort of making it at home. Plus it's a big pain in the ass to brew, particularly if you, say, let your pot boil over. Ahem.
