We have the Moby spout cover and our son looooves it! He especially likes to look under the mouth to see what's in there. He seems to think it might have changed since the last time he looked.

We also love our colorful bath hooks that are suction cupped to the wall because he likes to be in charge of HIS washcloth and put it on HIS hook. Very self-reliant, that one.

Borrow as much as you can!
That being said, we never used the bumbo that we bought but we LOVE the baby monitor (thick walls?) without it I always think I hear the babes and it's just outside noise. I also love that we can see whether he's settling back down on his own or whether he hasn't really woken up.
I also love our IKEA highchair which is super cheap, super easy to clean, doesn't take up much space and is minimalist

Before I gave birth, I was a total snob about licensed characters and was certain they would never make their way into my home. But my son inevitably came across Elmo and it made him so happy, so excited! His grandparents gave unsolicited gifts that made his day.
And that is how I let go of my licensed-character snobbery. (I've even embraced it a bit, like for the Muppets poster I saw on sale and couldn't resist)

I love this room, it's so beautiful and calm and still full of personality. What's with the negative comments about AT? I don't agree with any of them and don't see what it has to do with this room

RzBd you should try the glider we have! It's a dutailier floor sample we got for a deep discount at a boutique. I also wanted to add to my earlier post by saying that even though we wouldn't choose a couch, I love the room, I think it's chic and unique

We have a twin bed in the nursery for laying down/guests/when LO gets older and I loved (still do) having a glider there. It made nursing so much easier and we rock there every night when we read a story before bed. A couch is great, but I wouldn't trade my glider for one

Cloth swim diapers are also amazing, efficient, and a money saver. Of course, my son has never had more than a wet diaper in the pool, so we'll see if I change my mind if that ever changes

I agree with a lot of the comments here. It's a sweet idea and if I had lots of extra time and energy I might do something similar (probably with a different rhyme though). While I think I would appreciate the gesture on the other end, it does grate on me that people with kids have to apologize for their kids acting their age. On the other hand, you can only control your actions and reactions, so maybe being an overly-polite version of yourself even when you think its unnecessary, is the best policy.

What's with the cattiness? The post is about the display of family photographs, which is lovely, not about whether you like the room.
