A source for old tennis balls is a tennis club. The one near me leaves their old ones at the dog park. There are probably a couple hundred and they get snapped up pretty quickly.

When I got my whippet, I did it with full knowledge that he would expect to be allowed on every piece of furniture. His bony little bod has very little padding and he can develop sores if he is forced to sit/lie on hard surfaces too often. Besides, I love having him close so I can love on him. :o)
