OK, so we (ie my husband) finally assembled 2 of the tall dressers (3 drawers on the bottom, doors on top, a mix of birch and white) and it was truly a project. Because it's modular, there were literally about 12 different boxes/packages in our living room. But he did say that they are much more impressive items than the usual IKEA he's put together. Very roomy and takes up only a corner of the room. *New* Stuva Kids Furniture Line Debuts at Ikea | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

We are going to be putting together a couple of these babies tonight for our girls'. I love the idea of so much storage in such a small area, especially when they share a room. They are available at the IKEA in East Palo Alto CA. *New* Stuva Kids Furniture Line Debuts at Ikea | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I. Love. This. I would say my favorite so far. That country, retro vibe, the bright little pops of color, the big porch, the huge yard. I want it. Small Cool 2010: Chris Emily's Depression Era Shack Tiny Division #23 | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

BambiJo - I have an Alice too, and I was surprised to see it so high up the list! My other girl is Madeline, on the list but way further down. Hippest, Hottest and Most Happenin' Names of 2010 | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I use the Trader Joe's natural stuff ("Cleanliness is next to godliness" or something) for everything - dishwasher, laundry, and spray. It does the job for me. Otherwise I use vinegar and water. Which is the Best Green Cleaner? Reader Survey | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

I love the look of shutters. I would love to add some to my house some day. I would think they wouldn't be such a pain to wipe down as taking down curtains to wash. Decorating with Shutters | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

We just bought a house in the bay area last year, which I didn't think we would ever be able to do ...but only with the price of housing bottoming out, good credit, an FHA loan, a loan from my mom, and 2 incomes. Growing up in SF, we always rented, so it's a weird feeling to OWN something. I totally get the feeling of wanting to cry about ever owning a home! I've been wanting a salt pig or the like for a while now. I fear of using an open bowl because of dust or splatters, and a sugar bowl might confuse guests. I love the ceramic ones with hinged lids. Better Salt Storage: Try a Salt Pig | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

We recently bought a home in September, and there happened to be 3 rolls of paper towels in the kitchen. I think I am on roll #2. It's pretty luxurious to use them. Otherwise I use cloths, and I definitely have a "hierarchy" to them as well. How To: Create a Paper Towel-Less Kitchen | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

I was really wanting a countertop bin for scraps, but didn't want to spend $40 on one. I found a small stainless ice bucket with tight-fitting lid at Ross for about $15 which works fine. I need to empty it about every 2 days. Bamboo Compost Crock from Gardener's Supply Company | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |
