We used the Woombie too, with our first. He did well with it, but eventually he stretched it out. That was fine too, he could just get a couple fingers out to suck on. It meant that it would be useless for our second-born though, who is much stronger and bigger than our first. I found out about "double-swaddling" though, which has been a revelation!

I used to buy unhomogenized, vat pasteurized milk, but it always went bad really quickly. The taste though...it was amazing. Fortunately, I can get raw milk from a local Mennonite farm now, which I love. I use it in all my cooking/ baking recipes without any problems.

I couldn't love this any more. I can only imagine if my husband's workplace (I stay at home w/ our little one) chose to invest in their employees in this way, how not only his health, but his sense of well-being and productivity would rise 100%.

We love our farmhouse sink. It's beautiful and timeless, yes, but it's more practical and user-friendly than I would have imagined.

I guess I'm the only one, but I've been looking for something like this for my 16 month old. He loves to be involved with whatever I'm doing in the kitchen, but feels too constrained in his high chair, yet is not stable enough to use to step stool. I'm hoping to have my husband or father make it for me, though.

I love the Natos blog! How great to see her on here! I really love this entryway and have been trying to figure out how to do it in our own home. It looks so clean and organized and looks like the perfect landing spot for a family of five.

I just love every bit of this room :-) I'm partial to white furniture and frames too, but using the natural wood lends an air of vintage and whimsy. Something to consider as I put together my boy's nursery. And I agree with EhF, a charming, thoughtful write-up as well. Thank you for sharing!
