While I love the illusion of floating stairs, it looks like a broken neck waiting to happen. I feel dizzy just looking at it, and how would it ever work for kids or anyone over the age of fifty? A parachute is the perfect accessory item for these stairs.

wow, I can't even imagine the insurance nightmare........to say nothing of anyone over the age of 50 trying to negotiate them without killing themselves in the process.

It probably isn't, but it sure looks like a fire hazard, just waiting to ignite. It also looks like it would need daily dusting to maintain.

Oh, if I only had room for one of these on my balcony. Caffeine heaven! I agree that the toilet is not right.....I would hold it a LONG time before I would use that one.

I would love to have a wall of these as a bookcase, but not at this price!

I have a balcony that is a real oasis, and I use planters specifically designed to hang on the balcony railings, in addition to different height plant stands. I do not have as plant-friendly exposure as your balcony (mine faces southwest) but I have had wonderful luck with impatiens, marigolds, begonia, salvia, and geraniums. One of the nice things about the balcony railing planters is that they are lined with coco mats, so at the end of the season you can simply pull the liner out and toss the entire thing away if you should desire. I have done that in addition to pulling the plants out and using the same mat the next year. Good luck!

I appreciate the effort that went into the creation of the wall, but it makes me itch just looking at it. I think I would be somewhat obsessed about what is living in the wood, in the spaces between the wood, and what might crawl out to say "hello" when I least expect it!

I know, I know.....I can practically hear people groaning when they read this, but I have two cats and have watched them climb the curtains, swing by the rod, and even when they are not being acrobatic I have gone through endless rolls of that sticky paper to try to keep the cat hair coating down to a tolerable level. I finally gave up and bought verticle levolar blinds. They do not look particularly cheesy, as the inside is made to look like linen when closed, and the cats can simply move them out of the way to peek out the window without leaving them covered with hair. Being vertical, there is nothing to climb, an added plus.

While the oak is nice looking, my guess is it is only a matter of time before it splits and gets fairly nasty inside from dampness. The recycled tire, while a nice nod to green living, makes me think "do I really want my hands smelling like wet rubber?" Give me the stone, it will last forever!

The landlord should not only pay for the exterminator, he should pay for your lotions and send you flowers for your understanding!

I think the Tulip chair looks a lot classier in the original white or black.

I could see a nice tan/beige sissal rug underneath the table, bound with any color that you feel would work well with your floors or table.

I love the crisp, clean look of the flowers. The other pattern, excuse me for saying so, looks more like it would be at home in Mayberry RFD.

I own two cats who shed vast quantities of fur year round. Swiffers do a very good job of getting it all up, and I have found that you can use them on one side and then reverse them to get twice the use out of one cloth.

First of all, let me say that I love your furniture, especially the two pedestal chairs! I agree that a Noguchi table would be absolutely perfect for this space. It practically begs for it! Another choice would be a clear acrylic table that takes up no visual real estate.

I actually like your cabinets, and you could spice them up a bit with new door pulls. Personally, I would be disappointed to find out that wood cabinets had been painted over if I was a perspective buyer.
