I love the colors and the fantastic chocolate candy in mini spaceships but I have to agree the cost is too much. Then again she's a party pro and this went on a webpage so she's also promoting her expertise and creative prowess- money well spent if you ask me. I tend to think if you have the money spend it- the kid will have a great time no matter what but it helps to also impress the adults who come. Zachary's Out-of-This-World Birthday Party |

I LOOOOOVE THIS IDEA!!!! I saw it and thought- this is GENIUS! I could tell the set ups were super quick and did not disturb the cutie posing in her sleep. I just love that the materials are more "found objects" than model perfect Anne Geddes type costumes. I am inspired and so glad I got to see these! These are good enough to go on cards and onesies. I don't think heels sexualize a baby- I think most normal folk would laugh or earnestly chide the Mom for buying them- perfectly normal reactions. But plastic Barbie heels for your 3 year old are another matter entirely since the kid has to actually walk in them and you can buy those anywhere. I agree with this list!! I wish I hadn't bought the expensive round crib! I got it on Ebay because it's unique (and way cheaper than the grand it costs ay boutiques) but find I really want to buy more sheets for it but can't due to it's shape (DUH!) This is so small and pretty- like a music box. I love the stone window arch. The red brick walkway is so inviting. I wonder if the owners ever wish they had more space so they could collect more garden art.... My Great Outdoors: Craig Sam's (Sort of) Secret Garden | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

Love it- I don't have the restraint this couple shows- my apartment is full to the gills of things I find that I love- I think some color on the walls would be great but I understand the all white aesthetic they have. Erin Chris' Fantastic Fishtown Fixer Upper House Tour | Apartment Therapy DC |

I like the pink versions of these chairs. I understand the preference for wood or metal chairs but those are hardly green- if these white chairs were made from recycled materials they would be doubly awesome. The Most Famous Plastic Chair: The Monobloc | Apartment Therapy New York |

That apartment is beautiful!!!!! The light coming in from the window makes up for the smaller quarters- and the floor- beautiful. Congratulations on editing and great use of storage. It's great for 3 kids to share a room- it may lead to a few too many arguments but it also means everyone is encouraged to interact with each other and make compromises- that's what family is about. I also don't agree with giving over the large bedroom to the kids just yet- you deserve the space for peace of mind and you make the moolah so you get the space. If the kids start complaining you can always switch later but don't give up that mirrored side table- it's beautiful! I have this sofa in the backless style. It's beautiful but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to use it for watching tv or reading- it' not cosy enough. We've had it for 3 years and the middle is sinking in due to wear. We had an Ikea Ektorp sofa previously which held up really well for 6 years. I got rid of it thinking I wanted a more "grown up" clean line style. Also, the fabric is theoretically "washable" but dry cleaning led to faint permanent marks- overall not a sofa for a family. When I get my next sofa I will stay away from the beautiful yet uncomfortable mid century looking ones- especially now that we have a child. Recommendations for Our First Grownup Sofa?
