Would you know anything about a piece of art in picture #13? Thanks!

Beautiful place, Ariel. I would also like to confirm your color on the wall. It looks like Raccoon Fur from BM which I am trying in several places now, but it would be great to know for sure as it looks great.

Artfemme11 and LauraInCancun, this is so true about the inconvenience of looking through the thumbnails! I love Apartment Therapy but this is one thing I would change immediately about it if I could. Possibly somebody figured out some clever way to look through AT images but if not, then all of us are faced with the cumbersome procedure in any posting where you have more than a row of pictures. Just as an example, see the posting http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/dc/paints-stains-finishes/small-doses-of-color-for-the-color-shy--142843. So, I am on the 6th picture (2nd row) and click on the 7th which immediately occupies all of my screen. Now, to go to the 8th image, I need to scroll down to the row. And this will not be the only time in this posting. It all depends on how many rows are featured and how the picture is formatted in the first place. It would be so wonderful if AT can do something like Design Sponge does with their images. Or actually many other blogs. I understand that AT may have much larger number of postings/images but something can probably be done.....

Just seeing your answer, kwimbel! Thank you! Yes, friends in these cities are ready to check on Fulham but still nothing is on the floors. Also, RH has very hard time to answer my questions about the internal dimensions (in between arms). It was quite disappointing to miss several great sales because of this uncertainty, but I am looking forward to know more details and will be waiting for now.

This house is about so much more than interior design that I am hesitant to bother the owners about the colors. But how I would love to know what color they used for their exterior! I have tried 3 already on our house trying to reach this midnight blue and nothing brings the same depth and at the same time vivacity as what they used. Of course, it can be just the light or my computer settings but if somebody has the guesses of what paint is being used here on exterior walls, I would appreciate knowing.

This reply is very much appreciated, RT. The high arms made me doubt if it was suitable for napping and stretching.

Never tired of reading about leather sofas!

Two questions. First to RT:
Goetz sofa is so beautiful but is it any comfortable? I have tried stores in three cities already and nobody had it on the floor.

Please, if someone can have a chance to sit on Fulham from RH, can you please comment on its quality and comfort? Our RH in New Orleans does not anticipate to receive it for display - at least in any near future.

Thanks!

Thank you for letting us enjoy your house. Would you be able to tell what kitchen rails and paper towel (plus wrap and aluminum) holder you have in your kitchen? Do you find them functional enough to recommend? Thanks!

Agree with so many. Books are missing. The absence of plants can even me "forgiven" - they have these exquisite bouquets.... But no books?

I think it is Hans Wagner's Papa Bear Chair. Beautiful, isn't it? And the place I stayed in Costa Rica had two of them - they are wonderfully comfortable besides being so charming.

Spending yet another Saturday morning in the only Barnes and Nobles of New Orleans area…. Quite a drive but there is nothing of this kind in New Orleans per se.

Browsing through sections, turning pages, admiring images. Would love to have some of these books closer to me, but this is not the time. So, in these short hours I have carved for the visit, I am attempting to learn, to understand. My hope is that these reading sessions will help me map out my steps to finally make this small destroyed cottage of mine a real home. Where I can gather my friends, cook a great meal, put my currently boxed books along the shelves.

Maybe to put this book of yours on the shelves - after it helps me getting the house ready for the shelves….
