Check mine out! I found it at the Broadway Antique Mall in January and fell in love with it the second I saw it. At $500, it was bit of a splurge for an impulse buy, but it's probably my favorite piece of furniture. So versatile! We keep it in our studio/office/library room as a "printer caddy", but I could find a use for it anywhere. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Vintage Tea Carts |

I'm with typediva, AT does a nice job of mixing high and low. They often have tips on places that have cool used furniture. I'm in the camp that new furniture should be 'expensive' because good furniture requires good material and intention, which cost money. Apartment Therapy - Modern Alternatives to the TV Tray |

Wish I had this tutorial before I papered my wall! The only thing I'd recommend is to forgo dipping your pre-pasted paper into a trough and use "paste activator" instead. Several sources said that's the way they do it nowadays, and there was a lot less slop than what I remember from wallpapering as a kid. Apartment Therapy - How To: Hang Wallpaper |

Be prepared to pay for Cole & Son is right! I priced out my 9' x 14' wall at $800. That's right, $800 for ONE wall! Yikes! I ended up ordering a similar damask pattern from a Canadian manufacturer for 1/4 of the price from the J.C. Licht store at 19 S Morgan. They give 25% of the MSRP, which definitely helps. As a packaging designer, this is something that I actually know about! Yes, in theory, the pouch could be recycled, but since facilities for it don't really exist yet it won't be. It's still considered very green and "sustainable", though, because it uses much much less energy to make and ship, and there's less material to throw away. I expect we will see more of this type of packaging in the upcoming months and years, and then maybe the infrastructure for recycling will be built.
