Gorgeous but you can tell this is a man's place b/c I don't think many women can live without upper cabinets or at least open shelving! I'm glad you finally got the fire under you to make your move!

Beautiful. Maxwell we met when you were here in Richmond. You thought you recognized me from NYC which of course is entirely possible as I am from there! I am praying for you and your family. I've been there and it's not easy! I hope your new place will be your last so you and Ursula can feel settled!

looks great but never in a million years would I have painted this beautiful, perfect dresser. I would have lightly sanded it and stained (or not) and varnished it to bring out the wood grains and the natural beauty but.........to each his own!

Look at art.com when they have their poster sales! I have many and interchange them! See one in my teeny tiny office that I put up during the cure. I love it so much I put it on my jewelry website. http://ddsdesigns.webs.com/

I wouldn't even bother with the paint. I would buy some colored dot stickers at any craft store or school supply store then stick away!

Beautiful, clean and, as any Native New Yorker knows, VERY spacious for a Brooklyn apartment!

Great post Maxwell! I hang ART all the time in my home and what I have tried to do is use the same sized frames for different art pieces so I can interchange my art without having to paint the wall behind it everytime! (now mind you many of my pieces are art posters from art.com but they look great! )

It was great meeting you last night at LeDif. If you ever want to take a tour of Richmond with your family we would love to show you around! As a native New Yorker myself I know what you would love down here!

Wonderful job! I am getting ready to paint my cabinets as I put in a green granite counter top as I missed my old green counter from Brooklyn and now I see the kitchen is too dark with the knotty pine cabinets. I hate to paint over beautiful wood but as we can see from your redo at times "the end (really does) justify the means!"! Great job!
