Lillies is right I stickem in an old glass jar and use them as I need them. It usually takes at least a few months for me to go through the whole jar.

Tell the hotel you need a refrigerator in your room for medication. Normally they won't charge you for it. I am traveling to Vegas for work in 2 weeks and I am a vegetarian (which is a NIGHTMARE in Vegas) I am bringing nuts, dried fruits and other dry good snacks. There is a Whole Foods pretty close to the strip, I plan on taking a cab over and getting some yogurts, hummus and cut vegetables for lunches so I can skip the super gross buffets and subway runs that happen onsite.

I'm on the fence about the "presentation." But I like that you can easily repurpose and reuse when it's purification properties are gone. Unlike Britta and pur which add to the landfill. That DWR pitcher is nice but too pricey.

I don't drive, so it's really about convenience for me. I normally shop after work in the city at Whole Foods and TJ's (although TJ's is more of a hike and I get very little there) I'm vegetarian and don't buy any processed foods, very little dairy. During the growing season I have a CSA and frequent the farmers markets. I go to TJ's for nuts, dried fruit, edamame. Whole Foods for eggs (when my share isn't running) bulk grains and produce in the winter. There is a Stop and Shop and a Price Rite very close to my house I normally buy milk, yogurt and cheese there.

My mom wasn't the greatest cook. But there were 2 things she made that I loved. American Chop Suey with Campbell's tomato soup and these chicken legs with the cream of mushroom soup. Part of the recipe was to mix grape jelly into the cream of mushroom soup. I never made the chicken before becoming a vegetarian, I did make the American Chop Suey a few times, so easy and so good :)

I love Flour, they have wonderful sandwiches too. My mom got me an autographed copy of the book, havent had a chance to bake anything yet. I work near the south end location. The only thing is you always leave there smelling like bacon, yuck.

As long as you are heating it back up to eat it should be fine, I wouldn't leave it out linger than over night, so don't make more than you can eat in the morning.

I love the recipe from Domino Mag that I've tweaked over the years, 5 different heirloom beans, cocoa powder, fresh oregano instead of dry, chipotle en adobo and I roast a bunch of poblano and new Mexico chilis. It freezes beautifully too!

I have also tried this one which I liked, it has a very different feel from the small grains.

I have been mostly decaf for a year or so. Having the same issues, anxiety nervousness etc. The coffee I have now is more out of ritual than for wake up. Sometimes I go wild and get half caf :) I have also been drinking hot water and lemon before breakfast which is a left over habit from the "whole living" magazine cleanse.
