love this! Nicely done. The stairway is giving me inspiration to tackle mine. So clean yet inviting. The fridge enclosure made all the difference. Enjoy! Claire & Jeffrey's Kitchen: The Big Reveal Renovation Diary |

Really???? I have at least 20+ dish towels and use at least 2 per day--you must not cook! If you don't empty the lint out of the dryer each time it's a fire hazard. Wash pillows in the washing machine and air dry. Ten Household Items You Can Clean in One Minute (And Probably Should) |

A good secret is the Riedel "Overture" as noted by previously. This is a "restaurant" quality version of Riedel's well-designed stemware. I bought a set of 12 white (they fit in the dishwasher since they're shorter). And, I have a set of 8 bordeaux for red wine--They are almost the same shape as their higher end glasses but heavier and they don't break easily. Most importantly--no bulbous lip/edge and you must have a stem if drinking white as otherwise the wine will warm too much by the heat of your hand on the glass. I'd move the couch away from the wall at least a few inches--feels like it was pushed up against the wall. Perhaps you can acquire some more art with time....some of the pieces feel small for the wall. Laura's Mid–Century Melrose Place House Tour |

Laurabootsy: this is a "trend" report NOT an actual house which is why the look is a bit matchey. Nice to have a post that's not the oft emphasized MCM look (i.e. trend). On Trend in Europe: The Modern Romantic Look |

That dizzy-ing effect some noted can be minimized by painting the door trim and mouldings back to the old color (tan or neutral)--a break from the black and white. This would take it to another level. Before & After: Pretty in Pink to Bold Black & White – Part 2 |

I think the essence of what is said in all these posts is that this story is not a great fit for most AT readers. BTW: I don't think the new items look that much different form the style of the old restoration hardware. My problem was it was tough to read a story that said "resto" so many times ;-) BTW: Their turkish towels are indeed the greatest. Resto's Return, Chapter 2 or... Good to know fact: The Seattle IKEA and one IKEA in Texas are franchaise stores. This means their policies differ from the corporate IKEA stores. Seattle will ship directly to your location. Yes the furniture is lovely but in the bedroom the furniture feels like it was just dropped into place. I would have edited out the bathroom shots and the nightstand w/ books shot as these don't add to the story. Lorena & Ryan's Retro Inspired Condo House Tour |

I'm having a tough time with this one. Yes, the bookshelves are nice but the trendy touches such as the butterflies, bird cage, frames above the bed) feel self-consciously placed. One viewer above felt it didn't looked staged. Interesting how we all have a different take on things.... Kerri & Luke's "Bang for Your Buck" Bungalow House Tour |

I am a research Queen and became infuriated with the misinformation and marketing hype regarding mattresses. I challenge you to learn the truth about the Eco-friendly mattresses. You'll be surprised when you learn that only a portion of the mattress breaks down. And not all in the Natural Care line are as eco friendly as the others. A Year in Bed: A Modest Proposal |
