i love the idea of frozen wine cubes, but when i actually attempted it, i got frozen wine slush that i couldn't easily removed from the tray. has anyone else had better results? Wait, You Can Freeze That? Wine, Eggs, Cheese and More Real Simple |

i do this! its definitely works -- better than putting something heavy on top of it for a few hours, in my opinion. it also gets kind of spongy-like so absorbs seasoning/marinades well. Chef's Trick: Firm Up Your Tofu |

YUM! I just made this a few days ago, using Martha Stewart's Pate Brisee pie dough recipe. I didn't have cardamom, so instead split open a chai tea bag and sprinkled some of that in.
