this is actually REALLY common in many countries.

it'd be awful nice to make my own energy instead of relying on electric though. cut down on costs

it depends on the studio. i personally feel like my last studio was more efficient than many 1 brs i've had. i moved into my husband's one bedroom & we missed studio living so much the bedroom is used as my art studio & his study.

i say don't do it. focus that extra money in vesting in amazing storage pieces. get convertible storage (like murphy beds that turn into an office. don't rely on ikea completely. i mean, if you're considering doubling your rent, just hire a professional organizer. it'll be cheaper in the long run.

i've been doing this since i was a teen. i figured it out at camp. in a rush, a hair dryer speeds it up.

i don't celebrate christmas b/c i think it has nothing to do with the bible, but it you seriously can't argue that it's not innately religious. it was created to merge 2 religions & increase waning attendance.

although the roots of sort of selling out to people please bother me enough that i don't celebrate, i know that to some, it has very deep meaning to them. for them, someone playing along can be kinda insulting. but then again, i guess the whole invention of it kinda worked. watering down things so that more people who didn't believe would show up & celebrate in the name of something they don't believe in.

sooooo MAYBE you not using religious icons is MORE in the spirit of christmas than not.

* & maybe remind you bf the bible specifically reminds us not to make images of angels anyway.

also, yes on the security deposit advice. if possible, have them do the inspection WITH YOU THERE, WITH A CAMERA.
