Also, I meant to ask what part of St. Louis you live in? I also live in St. Louis and my boyfriend and I are considering buying in the near future and a space like yours is something we have thought about. Dabney's January Cure: Week Three January Cure Diaries |

My boyfriend says I am a hermit crab for bags. I use one until I outgrow it (collect enough receipts etc. to fill it up) then I will just grab the important things- wallet, keys, cell phone- and start a new bag. Once when i was out of the country visiting my sister for a few weeks he decided to do a deep clean and organization of our room for me as a surprise. when I got home he declared that I had "a problem" because of the number of mostly full bags I had. One of them had a container of fish food that had since opened and dumped its contents into the bottom of the bag.... Dabney's January Cure: Week Three January Cure Diaries |

I don't think that loquaciouslaura was saying you weren't free to make alternative suggestions. I think that she, like I did, felt that your suggestion was insulting in tone to Sarah and the choices that she has made so far. What Size Rug for Large Family Room Layout? Good Questions |

I love eating and using dates. The international grocery store across the street has pitted "Baking Dates" that are essentially a date puree.( http://www.amazon.com/Pitted-Baking-Dates-ziyad-13oz/dp/B000LRFY6W ) Does anyone know how I can use these in recipes? I never see instructions such as "1/3 cup Date Puree" but rather "1/2 Cup Dates" or "12 Large dates, pureed" Baking With Dates: Which Variety Reigns Supreme? |

I have the same make of vacuum as you, Daniel. My little Boston thinks he has to move right along with me all through the kitchen. I am always terrified any time I am cooking with onions or raisins that he is going to beat me to anything that gets dropped. Daniel's Gorgeous Kitchen Re-Design Kitchen Tour |

I have had a Mint Julep Iced Tea before that was very good. My friend actually bought a Mint Julep concentrate that had instructions to make the iced tea as well. I found juniper berries at my local Cost Plus World Market. I believe they were 99 cents for a little ziplock- it would be worth the cost for sure if you were interested in experimenting with the flavor. Brine & Beyond: Juniper Berries |

I see bread machines (Some still sealed in their original boxes) all the time at flea markets/thrift stores. I know I have read somewhere about people using bread machines for every step but the baking. It might be worth picking one up to use for the knead/rise times and pulling the dough out to form into whatever loaf you want to make. Best Budget Stand Mixer for Making Bread? Good Questions |

Can anyone tell me the dimensions on the bolsters for the case study bed? (bottom depth, height, top depth) I have also looked at the Tillary sofa ( http://www.westelm.com/products/tillary-sofa-f985/?pkey=csofas-sectionals-couch ) and would like to get dimensions on the bolster pillows on that if possible. I had a friend drop by with a few rolls of toilet paper when I first picked up the keys to my new apartment. Everything I owned was at my parents' house 35 min away and I had actually been contemplating where I would go if I needed to use the restroom. It was thoughtful and something that I put to almost immediate use. 5 Unique Items to Give as Housewarming Gifts |

One way that also works is if you use one slice of bread and a sharp knife. Cut most of the way down to the bottom of the slice of bread, but leave a little bit attached (so you are making one slice into two thin thin slices) and then slip your cheese into that bread pocket. As long as you leave a little space on the edges and put the closed part of the slice down, you shouldn't have a problem! Lunch Tip from Jamie Oliver: Toaster Cheese Sandwiches |
