Oof. I love Half Moon Bay. I lived in the Bay area for 18 years and now I'm in rainy Seattle. I think I'm going to cry for the love of these dry Mediterranean gardens.

Whoa! Lovely, but that's not at all like the Scott Campbell stuff I'm familiar with. Are you sure you have the link right? His other stuff is ultra cute and perfect for kids. I'm sure Ohdeedoh readers would like to know about him. We have two prints of his hanging in my son's room and my husband got me a painting for Christmas from his "Battles" series.

He is also the sweetest, nicest artist around.

Not every post is intended to be relevant to every reader. But all posts on AT are written as though they might be. It's how journalism works. You are certainly invited to move on to another post if you don't find the content valuable or useful.

Also, it's not a contest about whose life is more stressful. It's just a post with fun stuff for stay-at-home parents to do.

I don't see anything wrong with playing with food even if it's not eaten. It's a renewable resource and likely non-toxic. @denisegk, that's a great book!

The window in the background might be an old door painted black with stained glass paint applied to the window panes. Looks lovely.

Beautiful photograph of the avocado picker. Took me a second to see him. Love the abstraction.

If only I had extra closet space. Unfortunately if I had another closet, I'd use it as a closet. Great ideas though!

I would add Patrick Hruby's memory game, too. Gorgeous. It looks like it might be out of print, though. If you see one, snatch it up!
