Wowza! made the front page. All that hard work paid off ;) I will say that planning a little get together for my birthday was a HUGE incentive to take care of some of the bigger stuff I needed to do. Wig - I love the new colors in your bedroom! I've got a few more "afters" I can post, as the 3rd desk arrived and I started an inspiration board above my desk. Yay! A tea party! Although I was out of the loop for a few weeks, I think I did a good amount of catching up this weekend. Tore out the ugly old bookcase by the fireplace, installed some new ones in my office/reading room, and repainted the hallway. Ann - the wooden blinds that Leslie mentions from Ikea are pretty nice, I think the darker wood color would contrast nicely in this room. I too am on the hunt for good blinds or curtains. Unfortunately the Ikea blinds don't have enough flexibility in their sizing, and the restoration hardware linens add up to be pretty pricey. I really need to pull my style tray together, plus I want to put away the stuff i've had still hanging out in boxes in the living room/study.
