Bear in mind the cleaning upkeep for your selected ceiling fan when making your decision. I cring at the thought of how much dust the beautiful Monaco would collect. :-)

The delicious smells wake up me up every time I try this! So I use an inexpensive timer to start/stop the slow cooker using only frozen foods.

Maybe a Dark Navy trim? It hard to tell about the walls because there the white walls (I think they are white anyway) could have the pinker tones in it so you may still have a problem. I would also try different lighting/lightbulbs perhaps even before repainting anything.

I don't know. ashleyjane might be onto something. My hangers seem to reproduce, especially the cheaper ones! And when they decide to tangle together in a laundry basket orgy -- oh my!

I've always used a teaspoon to remove hand odors and that eliminates the hazards of the fork or knife! @Rosebud -- I never thought about using the faucet -- GREAT IDEA!

I would look at utilizing the closet space with shelving and/or in-closet storage unit of some sort before I would take up floor space with a chest of drawers. It looks like there might be some space for a wall rack or similar to the left of toilet (measure the space, then shop.) I have an area rug over my light beige wall-to-wall rental carpet and it works fine. You will probably need to get a sticky pad (sold with the area rugs) to prevent "crawl." Watch the rug placement and try to cover the light carpet in the high traffic or frequent sitting spots. Any change your dining table and desk needs could be served by one well chosen piece? I would give some thought to two armchairs or a love seat or some combination thereof vs. a sofa. It looks like a great space. I have a question -- What is a "soft loft?"

How about those self-adhesive cork pads for table/chair legs? That might solve the scooting problem and be nearly undetectable.

I occasionally use my washcloths for a quick clean-up but generally my "body puff" scrubby has taken the place of the washcloth. In theory, using a washcloth with your cleansing product gets you cleaner than just the soap alone. I usually keep a stack of washcloths in a basket to use as individual "hand towels" so everyone isn't using everyone else's germy handtowel (and it reduces the laundry space hand towels take up).

I would also give the egg cartons a thorough cleaning before putting the eggs back in to dry or present. Just in case...
