I totally second (third, fourth?) the sushi bar idea. I like to cut the nori into quarters, so everyone can make their own mini cone roll. Crêpe Parties, Taco Bars & More: 9 Build-Your-Own Party Meals |

Silk is far washable than people assume. You will lose some shine/patina/finish, but if you hate them, what have you got to lose? If you still have the swatch, measure it and stitch it to a stable piece of cotton (like a dish towel - do this so the unfinished swatch doesn't get pulled apart at the edges or lost in the washer, etc). Then run it through whatever process you are considering (bleach, oxy clean, color remover, dye, etc). Then analyze the results for color, finish, shrinkage, etc and decide if you want to proceed. Nothing. I need to sweep/dust mop at least once per week, so storage there would be really inconvenient. What's Under Your Bed? Reader Survey |

I agree with the two comments above. Trading votes for votes on other contests seems to be against the spirit of the contest. It may be within the rules, but is tacky. B & M could withdraw. The Small, Cool Outdoors FINALISTS: Vote For the Winner! |

I totally agree with Betsy in Minnesota - I make wonderful pie crusts with butter and a bit of oil (usually a nut oil). I am always asked for my recipe. The Marge website says the pies have "butter crusts" - is there lard in those? If so, that would be super misleading. Lard: What's the Big Deal? |

Well, if someone can read that as a 40-foot woman and a normal-sized tank, I can read it as a normal-sized woman and a sized-for-penetration object. It's gross. Toy Story: Ji Lee's Playful Pad Sight Unseen | Apartment Therapy Boston |
