That's easy. Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

I think the extra bedroom in the Gilmore Girl's house is Rory's Bedroom at her Grandmother's house. It looks like that. Why wouldn't Loralai take that one and Rory take Loralai's if that is how the space was set up.

I'm slightly obsessed with pop culture phones. I never realized that the same phone used in Clarissa Explains it all is also the same phone used in the Real World Brooklyn. I decorated my cubicle with a bunch of phones used on various Real Worlds. Here they are http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/168450_10150107937197594_5679032_n.jpg
The only one that wasn't used on a Real World is the Nickelodeon phone. I just happened to have that one.

I love using elements from Pee Wee's Playhouse to lighten up the place. Combine that with elements from the Real World (older seasons, not current ones), and the Addams Family. I don't really watch a whole lot of TV anymore, but I used to. I do have to say that the New Girl's loft really caught my eye though.

I bought some Pee-Wee's Playhouse Colorforms on ebay and stuck magnets to all of them. Now they hang out on my refrigerator. It's like the sticky ones but it's magnets. I don't know why they never thought of doing that themselves.

Is there a reason to do theme rooms anymore, or even worse theme homes?

I agree with everyone in the article especially the first one about books. I'd like to add this wallpaper http://uktv.co.uk/images/350460/25601_woods.jpg It was nice at first but I feel like I see it in every house tour. It's time to move on like chocolate furniture.

I feel I have to answer some questions. First of all the round bed in the middle of the room came with a pillow top. Instead of using a fitted sheet I put a duvet cover over the pillow top tuck in the corners and use square sheets. Round sheets are custom made and too expensive. If I could afford them I'd live in a bigger space.
The tiger is fake my mom made it for me before I can remember. She also made the quilt.
I love Dharma & Greg hence the Mona Lisa beaded curtain. If I could have put up more pictures you could see that my office is behind there. You can see the Starck Louis the 14th Ghost chair sitting in front of it. It's invisible so it doesn't take up space and I can use it to check emails etc.
Finally the reason why Ann Ly is at the bottom of some of the pictures, is because she is the photographer. She actually took all the pictures. I don't know why her name isn't at the bottom of all of them. Thanks to her my submission isn't a bunch of close up shots of my thumb.

I saw the house over a month ago. NBC 4 showed it but they focused on all the overly themed cliche' DC things in the house and of course the showers. So I wasn't a fan from the beginning. I thought it was as bad as *shudder* their Denver house. I know I know nothing could be that bad. Eventually MTV posted a house tour online and I watched a different version of the tour. I have to sa,y with such low expectations, the house got a lot better. It's still rots that it is such a theme house that it in no way encapsulates the style of DC. However it's a lot better than my first impression. I have to say I like the wallpaper all over the house and the phone in the (and I hate to say this) Rose Garden themed phone room. I'd pick the Kennedy room. That's whe one with the bed in the nook right? There is no way I'd sleep in the Reagan bedroom. BAH! Who wants to wake up with that grizzled old man looking down on you. How could you sleep?

Some of the "embarassing" stuff I had as a kid I still have up. Namely my Pee-Wee's Playhouse stuff. I still use the towel when I work out. The most unusual thing I did as a kid had to do more with my obsession with Tim Burton movies. I had some of his movie posters up but the jewel in this box was the photo montage I did of the man himself. Just pictures of Tim Burton. I'm kinda proud of it since he wasn't exactly the most photographed individual in the world.

This is what Miss Manners would say. Thank them kindly pack it up and when they come over pull it out and make sure it's on display. You can always make it known how you love how your home came together and how you like to keep things minimalist. In addition I feel that after you are sure they have forgotten about it you can get rid of it and if they ask say how some mishap broke it, or if it can't break it got lost somehow.

Is Helena Bonham Carter Burton playing Alice. She weasels her way into all of her husbands movies. BAH! Aesthetically pleasing but ever since he dumped his old muse, Lisa Marie, his movies have been going down hill. Lately it seems as though he's just been phoning it in. Not a shocker to see Johnney Depp as the mad Hatter. Yet when it's all said and done, OH MY GOD I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT! IT LOOKS FAB YOU LUSS!!!

This is exactly where they got it from. You can find out by checking the sponsors on the bunim murray website. They had similar ones in the Sydney house.

I like it. I think you aren't seeing the potential as another piece of furniture. You don't have to use it for double anal. The Real World Chicago house used something very similar in their phone area. http://www.mtv.com/photos/real-world-chicago-house-tour/1473334/1583738/photo.jhtml .
That may be a bad picture but on the show it looked hot. Give tantric a chance. Ignore the nasty heffer sitting on it in the photo. She doesn't come with it. I checked. BAH!!!

Breakfast at Tiffanys was great Holly's over Paul's for sure. The bathtub sofa we all want in her minimalist ecclectic style. Has anyone seen Down with Love. It's a modern send up of the old Doris Day Rock Hudson bedroom comedys, so everything is very over the top. Just my size.
