There's a house in my neighborhood that people call the "dollhouse" - it's a pretty Victorian home in which a creepy porcelain doll is displayed in each and every single window. It is terrifying.

It's not really my style, but it's beautifully done. Being a photographer who struggles financially I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the idea of being able to have an entire home dedicated to office/studio space. It's imaginative and different, but it really just seems excessive to me.

Great post! My aunt's adorable little bungalow always fascinated me as a child. I loved the dining room with its floor to ceiling bookshelves, filled with interesting books and nick-knacks, the cozy little living room with a fireplace and soft textiles, the pink 30's-ish bathroom that always reminded me of something out the movie 'Annie', the open shelf in the bedroom that allowed you to peek through to the kitchen, and the kitchen itself, with it's carpet (weird, but I loved it), hanging plants, and interesting ceramic dishes. My aunt traveled a lot in her youth, so she had little treasures from all over and her home always seemed so magical!

LOVE the white lamps against the dark wall in the bedroom. So pretty.

This is absolutely beautiful! I'd love to see a full house tour on this space.

This whole place is great, but what really got my vote was the adorable nursery!

So cute! I love this look but unfortunately my fiance is definitely a minimalist, so I have to tone it down a lot. I was able to get away with it a little at our previous apartment but the only thing that became a problem with having so many decorative things out was that it was really hard to keep everything clean - dusting became a nightmare! Love love love it though, and its always awesome seeing house tours from my hometown! :)

Why in god's name does IKEA charge more for shipping than for their items? My fiance and I have been planning on ordering a bed frame for our new house in St. Louis (the closest IKEA is 5 hours away in Chicago), but when I saw this thread I decided to check the shipping price on the item we want. Item = $140, shipping = $350. That is seriously the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I am obsessed with the kitchen. Cute place, but the tacky, HDR effect on the photos was really distracting!!
