I've had low pile Flor in my family room & had to take it up b/c it showed dirt waaaay too easily. That said, I read a comment here once where someone said they'd not had any trouble with it. It makes me wonder if some styles are better than others. I had the Wide Wale and wouldn't choose it again. I was also less than impressed with Flor customer service. I emailed three times, to specific individuals, and never received a response. I even sent picture files so they'd know I wasn't talking about a small amount of dirt/wear. No response whatsoever. Alisa K -- I purchased Wide Wale in Tan. I have friends who have also had good experiences with other tiles, but I'd stay away from the Wide Wale product. The "Housepet" referenced by twostraightlines (love your blog by the way!) is advertised by Flor as not showing dirt and being durable, so perhaps that would be a better pick? I had the Flor tiles in my sons' playspace and had to take them out because they were such a nightmare to keep clean. Maybe there are tiles that are better than the ones I chose, but mine were dirt magnets. Even worse, I contacted Flor multiples times with my concerns and was ignored. I've now gone with one of those indoor/outdoor hose down type rugs & am much, much happier (and you really can wipe ANYTHING off of them with a baby wipe -- it's fabulous!).
