I use Feline Pine, which I love, but after most of the pellets have broken down you do still get a bit of tracking. My poor cat has kidney failure, so now I'm changing the litter twice a week. Ended up buying a special little mat to place in front of the box, which collects most of what would have tracked further out. Ideal Kitty Litter for Apartment Dwellers? Good Questions |

As someone who came late to cooking (feeling only comfortable enough in my own new apartment to start by knowing it was ok to fail and by choosing recipes from AT that really struck my taste), I can't thank you enough for giving me so many great options. My now boyfriend, who is a great cook himself and does much more of it than I, loves when I bust out my Kitchn go-to's: We're Writing The Kitchn Cookbook! |

I recalled there was something recently about a woman painting her basement bedroom paneling white, which looked great. I searched, and here's a link to Apartment Therapy postings on the topic (with that particular transformation included). Ways To Modernize Pine Ceilings and Walls? Good Questions |

Lovely and striking. Distinct color combinations and with lots of texture going, as well. Beautiful pieces too (and just curious: how comfortable are those squiggle chairs really?). Monique's "Design Detours" Room Room for Color Contest |

I have a hand-me-down very like the rug in photo #9. Not sure where my family picked it up, but I remember that during my childhood it sat in our front entryway as a large 8x11-ish size that a housekeeper put in the WASH to clean and shrank to a petite 3x4-ish size, which I now keep beside my bed. I also love them and long for more... someday. Design Classics: Oriental Rugs |

Agree with so many listed here (the Up series, Bill Cunningham, Brother's Keeper, all those other fashion and education ones, Grey Gardens). Oh, how we become invested in these people's lives! I agree with the others about the beauty of the space. I also love a bright turquoise or peacock blue (ala the tarp on the floor there) with neutrals and especially against some black. Color Combos for Room with Black & White Rug and Neutral Furniture? Good Questions |

What an amazing family compound. Very magical. I also especially love that white outdoor rounded couch and the soothing colors in the room with all your squiggle art.
