For those worried about cleaning shades, there are always those Block Lamps which look like light bulbs encased in a glass brick. You can just wipe the glass casings clean.

Lovely place. I spent two summers working in Steamboat Springs and thought, "Colorado gives good Colorado" -- it's as beautiful as hoped!

I'm curious, though, about the upkeep. I understand people with actual boats have to maintain constantly. Is there some huge amount of extra work that needs to be done daily because of the elements?

This is one of my favorites ever. Hilarious sense of humor and gorgeous fabrics and colors. Especially that orange chair near the wall "obscenity" (which made me smile immediately), the purple sofa, and the whole shoe room.

Salon-style wall aside (or included), I'm in love with that whole room in the first photo! The colors, the furniture pieces, the accessories! The wall style just adds to that, especially the mix of old and contemporary/humorous portraits.

That first bed image is one of my all-time AT favorites: the headboard art with that bed, the chandelier, the overall color and feel (just minus the antlers)...
