We have been using the seventh generation line (wipes and detergent - the diapers leaked too much) and tried to use g diapers (flushable) when at home and until they started top clog the toliet...wish there was some more options for diapers. Cloth seems like too much and daycare wont do those.

I planted a great garden this year and between that and the local organic market I have made all of our baby's food - its really easy and fun to cook for her already. I cook for a few hours and freeze in icecube trays and am set for a few weeks.

We also made a concious effort to not buy all the toys and things that lots of parents will tell you you have to have (which all tend to be huge and made of plastic too) Some of those toys seem way too overstimulating let alone way too plastic!
