Some of these designs look a little less "baby" and a little more "baby-making". Stylish Sleepers: 15 Simple Chic Bassinets, Cradles, and Baskets |

Call me crazy, but I don't understand the appeal in this collection. It looks poorly made and the patterns of the "Missoni" brand are tired and not innovative. I'm just worried that marketing, again, has influenced our idea of good taste. Missoni for Target: The Aftermath Plus Product Reviews! |

You MUST have wooden hangers. Plain and simple. It has to be orderly, too. I love and live by this idea, but seeing this room as "inspiration" is faulty - a style based on clutter is not equivalent to a style based on functionality. Letting Your Clothes Show | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

It's just unfortunate that the real issue of hoarding is not addressed. Instead, shows like this capitalize on the disease by creating entertaining-to-watch episodes of people "who are so messy" in order to make a buck. Hoarding (albeit not all families are hoarders, but most) is not cured by creating a sterile space, it's cured through therapy. The Best of Clean House | Apartment Therapy New York |

White is the new black. All white beds and bedrooms give a sense of relaxation not obtained from busy duvets or linens. I use the same philosophy for bathrooms: white equals cleanliness and cohesiveness. Sleeping In The Clouds: 5 Takes On the All White Bedroom | Apartment Therapy DC |

The only way to truly conserve is to use bags that are already produced and won't be replaced. Buying "designer" grocery bags produces more "designer" grocery bags, hence more waste. Use backpacks that you already own - go to thrift stores and buy bags/purses/luggage that you can use as grocery bags. If you forget those, then pick through the recycled plastic bags at the front of the store and use those. It's about not replacing, not about using grocery-friendly new products. Haven't read most of the comments, but I lived for the last two years without a dryer. I not only loved it, I now prefer it even though my new house came with one. The only thing that makes me irate about my new neighborhood are the laws against hanging laundry outside. They believe it makes the community "look poor," or so an official of the townhomes was stated. I never thought drying clothes outside could spark such debate within myself and my neighbors, but I've caused quite a stir that I sincerely believe in. Have You Lived Without a Dryer?
