The ONLY excuse I can see for their grouping of such predictable and easily attainable titles is that these bundles would make nice gifts for the "book lover" in your life.
Even then, some personalized selections would be much preferred.

cactus pups are our faves! there are plenty of $5 - $12 toys to choose from and our girls (who are 5 and 10) love picking out new blind boxes to add to their collections on each trip.

they have the cheapest ugly dolls in the city of chicago, too. they've become a birthday party staple for us as they're the perfect unisex gift.

this really is a pretty good bed for the price. we bought it for our 5 year old after her former (hand me down) ikea bed broke for the last time. since we bought it so late, we'll probably only get a couple of years out of it but she does adore her new "bunk bed" and the little fortress we've created underneath it.

I really wish we had painted it before we assembled it because this thing was a bear to put together. instead, we painted the room a soft grey/purple that really coordinates well the blue panels.

10 years of mothering girlie girls has made me learn to appreciate a really great heart pattern when I see one. (but really, they're all stunning sets).

This is a really stunning home! Everything has so much personality and seems comfy and cozy.

Additionally, it's always interesting to see the same pieces in a different setting. I particularly like the wall hanging that was displayed horizontally in your kitchen flipped on it's side in the living room. And I'd be a fool not to mention how much I love the Russel Wright collection tucked away in your kitchen. Thanks for sharing (again).

I'd recommend the Thickett Flannel fabric as seen on Room and Board's stunning "Grace" chair.

As of a few years ago they sold all of their upholstery fabrics by the yard and I think this one was about $25/yard. You can even order swatches online.

Good luck with the sofa & be sure to post a pic when it's done.

dmadura...love your Jay Ryan prints! I've got a few oldies but goodies in storage that really deserve framing. Maybe they'll adorn our walls by week 7 or 8 of the cure. However, we're burning through our budget pretty quickly over here with a few larger purchases (area rug, bookshelf, etc) so they may have to wait another few months.

seriouslydramatic...that is one pristine and lovely kitchen. Congrats on your progress!

Moryse...you know I love everything in your place, including the landing strip but I can't wait to see what changes you make over the next several weeks.

The Oak Park Public Library owns a stunning piece by Jacob Hashimoto titled "skip skitter start trip vault bounce - and other attempts at flight". The entire permanent art collection is really pretty nice for a public library and worth checking out if you're in the area, especially if you love Hashimoto's work:

thanks for posting our living room pic. curtains, or window dressings of some kind, are definitely on the to do list. as this has been a somewhat challenging space for us to decorate I welcome any suggestions. whatever we add, we don't want to block out too much of the light coming in.

sprout home in chicago used to carry the mirror but I haven't seen it there in almost a year. it came in two sizes, too. so many things to fall in love with at sprout, so little disposable income....

First Apartment Therapy post ever! I've enjoyed the site as a reader/voyeur for nearly two years but the time has come for me to seek a little Apartment Therapy therapy. I'm a collector of things and have a horrible time letting go of them as is likely very evident in my before photos. I'm hoping to part with as many unnecessary possessions as I can in the coming weeks and am mentally prepared for the initial shock, if any. My other major goal is finding a furniture arrangement that works well in our 2nd floor greystone apartment. Though plentiful, the space is a challenging one. I'll try to have a floor plan scanned in sometime tomorrow. I'm looking very forward to everyone's help and feedback in creating a healthier home.
