I also use a pressure cooking with my beans that have been soaked overnight.

Going to try the brine method though!

Besides shortening cook times, pre-soaking is suppose to help with digestibility. So if you find that you tend to be gassy after eating beans, then it's best to soak.

You can even consider changing the soak water often with fresh water to help eliminate even more of the complex sugars that cause indigestion (which is why you never use the soaking water for cooking).

Don't you need to store cut herbs in the fridge? I tried storing cilantro in a water filled vase on my kitchen counter and it wilted within a few days.

Just yesterday for my birthday I got the best "floral arrangement" ever. It was actually a bouquet of lettuce and chocolate fondue dipped strawberries from http://www.ediblearrangements.com/.

All of it was consumable and the holder was a re-usable, over-sized coffee mug. Excellent!

I recently switched to a stovetop Moka and love it (just as long as I remember to screw the top and bottom together tightly, otherwise only steam comes out instead of coffee).
