As a person afraid of heights, just this photo terrifies me. I would never be able to pee in there.

I'm lucky enough to live in Washington where it is legal to sell raw milk in grocery stores. It travels about 45 miles from the farm to the store. I can tell you definitively that it does taste better. I think the person who mentioned pasteurizing it at home had an excellent point. Most of the (non-raw) milk in stores is ultra pasteurized, and has sacrificed some of its nutritional benefits for the sake of shelf life.

Baby bathtub. We only used it a couple times- it was easier to just have a parent sit in the big bathtub with the baby.

And I second the comment about not buying crappy made in China crap. Do NOT buy any kids furniture made out of particle board. Even if you only have one child, they will destroy that furniture and you won't be able to re-sell it.

As for your son's room, what about a pink tent or a pink teepee? It would be a nice pop of pink, and could be easily moved if he decides later that he loves yellow?

My 4 1/2 year old son is crazy about pink and purple. I've raided local thrift stores to find him purple or pink clothes that are plain, i.e. not covered with butterflies and rhinestones. He says he likes 'boy pink' not 'girl pink'. I got him a bunch of purple and pink socks from Old Navy and he wears one of each every day. He gets lots of compliments from strangers and kids in his preschool (it is Montessori, as someone was mentioning earlier).

I feel great about encouraging his love of these colors. I would think that in 2012, the idea of 'girl colors' and 'boy colors' would be passe. Look at Brad and Angelina's daughter, who has a 'boys' haircut and clothing. I think that's great. That's who she wants to be.

It largely depends on the baby. My first LOVED to be rocked in the glider, but my second preferred a baby swing that rocked her and played music.

Get rid of the wallpaper border, and put in Pergo flooring instead of the linoleum. We have that same linoleum in our bathroom, and it always looks dirty, even when it has just been cleaned. Also, maybe paint the dark frame around the window white?

I had three CPK. My first one was a baby that had the little top knot of yarn hair, and his name was Lenny Paul. I saved him, and when I pulled him out a couple years ago, I noted that his arms and legs had been re-attached countless times. Thanks Mom.

My husband made everyone jars of harissa a few years back. It was unusual and well received!
the next year I made my own vanilla extract and bottled it in pretty bottles with a vanilla bean.
It had a rum base and was sooooo good!

I was recently in this situation, but with only one premature baby. Lotions and such are a great idea, but they must be unscented! Babies in the NICU can't be exposed to scented products- at the hospital we were in, you couldn't even enter the ward if you had on perfume or scented lotion.

I would suggest some form of meals (the previous posters had some great suggestions), a cleaning service, or some intersting books/magazines/movies.

Best wishes to the twins and their family!

Both my babies loved coming in the shower with one of us. My daughter was a 4.5 lb. preemie, and we did buy a baby bathtub for her, but only used it once. The sink really is easier.
