On the massive panels, can you get some photos of you both (beg, borrow and steal from friends), change them to black and white, blow them up and cover them? I know this may sound weird, and may be costly... however, my friends had some photos and covered a couple of panels. was nostalgic for everyone and lovely. My little-used Karlanda model had the arm collapse about a year after purchase.
