Okay, I tried them and they taste and smell wonderful but I had such a problem getting them out of the mixer bowl and into the loaf pan. I felt like a cartoon character in some glue! Did I beat them too long or what? Any suggestions?? Copycat Recipe: Chocolate-Dipped Beer Marshmallows |

Just throwing in another welcome from Houston! I second both suggestions for the attic insultation and watching out when you get in the car during the summer! The upside to all the heat and summer electric bills is the winter with really low heating costs and rarely even a need for jackets! Good luck! I just finished my kitchen backsplash in the black/white/gray glass mosaic tile. Our cabinets seem to have similar coloring, so it might give you an idea of what it would look like, it does not look bland at all in my opinion (plus I plan to have red accents to add some bright color). brainygirl, my kitchen actually does have stuff, my before pics show a ton of clutter on my counters. This was not actually my deep clean but really the finish to my kitchen repair, which was putting in new countertops and backsplash (pics of the whole process are posted in my Flickr pics. I had just finished with the sink the night the pic was taken and had not put back any of the stuff yet! I am however enjoying having non-cluttered counters for a change and and trying to be very selective about what goes back on them.
