The lack of flash support is an issue for me.

But that aside, iOS is also completely closed and that's the real issue. Also, the iphone really was revolutionary when it was released four years ago, but having an iphone 4s now it's just really aggravating in so many ways. The UI just hasn't evolved well enough. Windows phone is in all actuality a better interface and OS. Sure, there's not nearly the number of applications on it right now, but give it two years.

iOS in the mean time has been pretty dead in the water. They've made some minor upgrades to the OS (like finally being able to copy/paste text), but overall it's a muddy and clunky experience compared to metro UI.

And Android is like the cheap copycat of iOS that gives you want you want, but at the cost of it being a pleasant experience. I'm not saying that it's awful, because it's gotten better, but it isn't innovative. Both platforms take strong inspiration from the desktop experience.

So yeah, I'm not a huge fan of iOS. It's aggravating in the way it limits what I can and can't do in terms of productivity. And yeah, a lack of flash really gets in the way. With flash I could have all the functionality of the hundred or so 99 cent apps Apple wants me to buy. The battery life on the 4s is so poor already they can't really say flash would make it that much worse at this point.

My family had a bird repeatedly fly into our sliding glass door every morning as the sun came up. Solution? I got up before the bird one morning, hid in the bushes, waited for it to hit the door . . . then I shot it with a blow gun! Bye bird! No more snot window!

I see you have used the word, "collection" to spite me. It isn't collections month.

Really? Facebook? You spend all this time rebranding the site, then we're all herded back to facebook to enter the drawing.

What about your faithful readers (myself included) that don't use facebook? It's horribly irritating and makes readers like me feel disenfranchised.

Good luck facebook users. I hope we get a good reveal of what's in the bad after a winner is announced.

I'm not against it. It's much more true to LEGO than the Belville sets were. Those were barely LEGO. If you don't remember those then go look them up. These are better. Other than the minifigures and colors, it's LEGO in every other way. It promotes building, creativity, play, and fun, in a way that appeals to girls like other LEGO sets might not.

My wife would never appreciate that if I did it for her, but I would love it! Maybe after our first comes along this summer she'll have a change of heart.

No love for the lens pen? Or are we just talking camera bodies at this point?

I think cleaning the sensor yourself is fine. Wiebner's comment sounded too much like an ad to begin with, and then they put that referral code in . . .

While some of the new niche groups make sense, it's hard to know where the old is supposed to become the new. Which of the tabs is Re-nest? Is it DIY? That doesn't make complete sense. I know that they aren't supposed to be a 1 for 1 transfer, otherwise you wouldn't have killed the brands (which I think was a bad idea).

I just hope that the daily finds won't make it on the main page anymore. Even if I lived in one of the cities (which I don't), I still wouldn't want to see all the stuff from the other cities. That was my daily "skip all this junk that doesn't apply to me."

Also, watch out for too much overlap between the categories. I don't want to see a bunch of stuff on the main page, then see a lot of the same in the Style section, then again in DIY, Homekeeping, Family, Tech, etc. Choose the most appropriate category and leave it at that or your readers will choose to read one sub-section and ignore the rest.

Anyway, I'm not sure if you made the best decision, but I'm here for the ride and I'm not going to rant about hating it or anything. Change is hard to get used to.

I think anyone in the $1700 market is wasting their money. There are plenty of $300 headphones that are going to sound just as good for sure. Any benefit gained by an extra $900 spent (seriously, like zero gain) will not be worth the cost ever. That $900 goes to extra money in the company's pocket and some more expensive materials in the construction of the headphones, but certainly not in the quality of the audio.

@Minuet42 - I agree. It isn't much of a collection, so they really should not mention collecting at all. Collection month is dreaded by a lot of readers, so there's no point in rubbing it our faces the rest of the year with stuff that could clearly be called something else. The same goes for good posts about real collections. They need to save them for collections month because there are people (like me) who hate to see that word here, especially outside of collections month.

Get a pair of GK-Music Ultraphones. I'll buy you a hamburger if they don't sound as good if not better than any pair of the headphones listed above.

It is not collections month, so you are therefore not allowed to make posts about collecting.

Thank you very much. I hate that month and it ruins any posts about collecting for the rest of the year too.

I use the dislike button for youtube videos all the time, which is nice. If something sucks I can voice that opinion. Justin Bieber's "Baby" was the most disliked youtube video of all time until Rebecca Black released her meme video, "Friday." Where would these great facts be without the dislike button?
