my husband calls my scrambled eggs, "prison eggs" ... he does not have first-hand experience, only imagining prison cooks are making eggs scrambled as badly as mine.

my number one would have been infant carseat/stroller combo, closely followed by the pack & play and the co-sleeper. nearly $700. o stuff that what totally unnecessary.

a spoonful of honey can be a decent expectorant.

we do sheets on the mattress, a down feather bed covered in cotton jersey, a cotton jersey top sheet, a king sized percale sheet, two cotton waffle blankets and a duvet covered down comforter. toasty!

i hung a framed poster of art kane's iconic 1958 jazz portrait 'day in harlem' over our kitchen sink ... it's the best thing i've ever done for the kitchen. i love it!
