I kept a box in my daughter's closet organized by size and would rotate through the items as she grew into the size. When she was very little I would replace all of her clothes when she grew out of one item of the smaller size. (We were blessed with lots of clothing and many more hand-me-downs).

Below her new clothes box was another box that I used to collect all of her out-grown clothing. As soon as it had been laundered, it went into that box. Once the box was full it is labeled and placed under the house for storage.

Any items that she only wore once because I didn't like them or they didn't fit correctly, etc, would be given away as the likelihood of me caring about them the next time around is minimal at best.

As a kid, my father had a Ford truck with a canopy. Due to the three seater bench seat, when we went camping, we would pack the back 3/4 of the bed with our supplies and etcetera and I would be allowed to climb through the sliding rear window to sit in the bed on blankets. It was the best - a secret, mobile fort.

We saw our daughter for the first time the day before we closed on our first home. Since both my husband's family and mine live in other states, we took pictures of our house once we moved in and had decorated. We compiled a slideshow with the last photo being one of us - my husband and I holding our ultrasound photo. Getting to talk to my parents while they looked at the photos for the first time is one of my absolute favorite memories.

I used it with my daughter for the first six weeks and we both loved it. She slept very soundly and made an easy transition to her crib from it.

We didn't have any problems with respiration and actually transferred her back into it when she had a cold at 3 months.

I'm glad there's a post about this because my husband believes I'm neurotic. All of my clothes are organized by colour first and then sleeve length second. T-shirts to long sleeves. Once you've done this for a while the problem of "finding" an item you want to wear is nullified because it's always in the same place.

1.) Janna (Banana)
2.) I'd adore having one of the fly, mod and iron vines packs.
3.) My husband and I recently moved into a new apartment where, of course you can't paint the walls. Dumbest rule ever. I'd love the iron vines for our bathroom - give accent to these fabulous ceramic balls I just found. (Fig. 1) The fly pack would go on our dining room wall (Fig. 2), and the mod pack would be just masculine enough for my "husband's" room. (Fig.3) :)

Oh my goodness. The colour on our 22" Sylvania has finally bit the dust. I blame this mostly on my cat who loves to climb on top of the TV. We do get better reception when she is up there, however a 37" flat screen would allow us a possible wall mount and the cat would have to find another nesting place. Perhaps the ridiculous cat bed we bought her.

(Plus the HDTV would allow us the ability to clearly see the UO Ducks whomp on Michigan as they're doing now...)
