Thanks to my newly vegan sister I recently figured out that I'm allergic to the carrageenan in most store-bought almond milks and I'm not crazy about soy. I started making my own oat milk about three weeks ago and it's great! I use Angela's recipe but use rolled oats instead. I don't add anything to it as mine mostly goes in smoothies. I add about 1/4 cup of the leftover oat pulp to my smoothies in the mornings - super filling! The only downside (or upside?) is that coffee + oat milk = cereal flavored coffee
