All I have to say is that when I eat (for a significant period of time) whole veggies, fruits, nuts, lean meats and spice it up however I like, I can't deny it's the best I have ever felt! Digestion becomes regular, energy is up, performance is up, etc. You just can't deny that eating this way is a healthy lifestyle! Who cares what it is called...as long as you feel good. I don't know the science of it, but I know when I cheat and add a little dairy or bread back into my diet that it disrupts the great feeling (this could be b/c I had gone without it for so many days...). When I started eating this way, I realized just how many "bad" carbohydrates were in my daily diet...toast, oatmeal, sandwich bread, rolls, rice, pasta. I was overdoing the carbs! I get that you can eat them in moderation...but I prefer the feeling I have when NOT eating that many carbs! It's very tough to let go of bread, pinto beans and cheese...(OH Chipotle!), but it's totally worth the way I feel!

I used to eat ketchup sandwiches and mayo sandwiches...ugh. The ketchup had to be on hot dog buns.

Also, listen to this!...My mom's salad she used to serve us when I was growing up was a lettuce leaf topped with a canned-peach half dolloped with mayo topped with foldings of Kraft American cheese slices topped with a maraschino cherry! Ugh. Such a healthy salad.

Nectarines...oh my goodness, nectarines are divine! And if eaten at their ripest, they are better than peaches! I always thought it was a citrusy fruit, until my bro introduced me. Yum!

What about Mark-Paul Gosselaar? I was sure to see his name! Heart-throb wise...he was the only one on my wall. I had a Simpsons calendar...obviously only for one year. I had a bulletin board where I posted my drawings and some newspaper clippings. And I had one of those nets that go in the corner to hold all of your stuffed animals and dolls...chock full!

Hi DifferentBird! I was gonna say the same thing so I looked back at the old post and I found this comment from someone:

"FYI, I just heard back from Faith, and the pitcher was made by Green Gate. Unfortunately, Green Gate is a Danish company with no distribution sites in the United States. They have a nice website with a catalog to browse, but unless you're Danish, you can't order from them. I've checked ebay and haven't found anything by them, so I'm guessing that you'd have to go to Copenhagen to get anything. Bummer."

It is a gorgeous pitcher!

I actually was very spoiled growing up...breakfast-wise. My brother and I would wake up to the smell of pancakes, french toast or waffles during the weekdays before we got ready for school. By the way, our DAD always made our weekday breakfasts! The french toast and waffles were usually frozen, but the pancakes were always from scratch!!! Mmmmmm. On the weekends, Mom would make her homemade overnight french toast or from-scratch pancakes or a basic egg-bacon-toast breakfast. In high school, Dad stopped making our breakfasts, so I started eating savory breakfasts like sausage biscuits or eggs and bacon. I didn't start eating cereal until I was about 23 years old. Now I'll eat cereal with soy milk or make eggs and bacon or make an egg sandwich or eat a bagel with cream cheese. Don't get to the pancakes, french toast or waffles as much anymore!
