I find shallow shelves very practical in a pantry. They allow you to see everything you have and reduce the temptation to load up your shelves with products that you will bury and never use.

I second the suggestion to take photos of the room. You really do notice more in photos than you do in real life. This assignment also reminds me of when I was little and my dad would sometimes pick me up by my feet and walk me around upside down. I always noticed how different my house looked from that angle, and especially how looking at the ceiling instead of the floor helped me imagine what the rooms would look like empty. I'm going to work both of these perspectives into my homework tonight.

I put my sheets in the dryer for 15 minutes and then air dry them the rest of the way. I don't know why, but that process leaves them very soft and nearly wrinkle free -- close enough for me!

I've had two experiences with this style in hotels. The first was a suite that had a frosted glass wall in the shower, and on the other side of that wall was the main space of the hotel room. Luckily I was staying there with my boyfriend (and he loved it). But what if I had been with a friend or business associate? It would have been awkward to say the least.
