@DotJen

Thank you so much! A lot of our projects probably took twice as long as we made sure to document the entire process - but it's nice to able to revisit it from time to time :)

By all means steal the idea! The decal on the cabinets transformed an affordable, fairly popular cabinet, into a unique piece and focal point in our living room. It's one of our favorite things in the apartment.

The bricks are indeed brick. They're just cut a lot thinner so they don't have the weight of a traditional brick. They're called brick veneer and we still had to apply brick mortar so that they would adhere to the wall. Very simple but extremely tedious and time consuming.

We love the love too! Thank you!

Thank you! I do have the source. It's West Elm's Jackson 2-Piece Chaise Sectional. (http://www.westelm.com/products/jackson-sectional-g563)

Thank you! We planned the colors carefully and hoped for the best. All those colors together could have been a disaster but we managed to pull it off and are very happy with how it turned out. The colors in the living room are painted in "blocks" of violet, teal, grey, magenta and black. Sorry, I don't have the actual color names on hand. If you're interested in getting a better look at the colors, check out our 5 minute video of the entire process. www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6Q2TKaGk7E

It's actually a duvet cover. It's West Elm's organic cotton pintuck duvet cover in slate. (www.westelm.com/products/organic-cotton-pintuck-duvet-cover-shams-slate-b804/)

@clarissima

It's really all relative. I actually don't find my apartment to be small at all, and by NY standards it's actually a very decent space. You're right, there are no hardships here. However, compared to other parts of the country and even other boroughs, it can be considered small, especially considering what our rent goes for!

As for AT's numerical specifications for this particular contest...

- TEENY-TINY 400 Square Feet and under
- TINY 600 Square Feet and under (but over 400 Square Feet)
- LITTLE 800 Square Feet and under (but over 600 Square Feet)
- SMALL Under 1,000 Square Feet (but over 800 Square Feet)
- INTERNATIONAL All non-US entries (under 1,000 Square Feet)

We love this desk! Before moving in together, we actually each owned one. I sold the one I owned. It was smaller and is no longer in production, and the one pictured is the one we decided to keep (obviously). The desk is from IKEA and it is excellent quality. It's part of their BESTÃ… BURS series. (www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50147354/)

We somewhat agree with you. Finding a place for two bikes was a challenge we tackled throughout the entire makeover. Everywhere we tried not only disturbed the look, but put the bikes in our way - very uncomfortable. Ultimately, this was the best location for us and we're very happy with them now.

@PooinBaby @ciddyguy

You're both right. We're still putting the finishing touches on our place and lighting is one we are still improving. Some of the spaces are better lit than they appear in the photos. Photographing during the day would have probably helped improved the quality :/

Thank you so much! A lot of time went into those stripes! The table IS concrete. It's CB2's fuze bistro table. (www.cb2.com/fuze-bistro-table/f9129)
