Each person may have different foods that set off migraines. For my grandmother, that was chocolate, red wine, raspberries, citrus, soy, aged cheeses, onions, garlic, cured meats with nitrates, ripe bananas, (just to name a few). This is a typical list of foods to avoid if you suffer from migraines. For a while her doctor also put her on a no wheat diet thinking she was allergic, but that did not help them.

I personally have had severe migraines when I let myself become dehydrated.

I cook every day, and love having as much usable counter area as possible. It also helps speed up the clean up process.

Here is my on counter inventory:
Dishrack
Toaster oven
Container of frequently used cooking utensils
Fruit basket or flowers
Coffee mill
Kettle on stove

Mounted / hanging/ installed I have:
Knives on magnetic wall rack (I hate those clunky, blocks.. and you can't clean inside the slots)
Hanging Fruit baskets
Mounted paper towel holder
Flip out sponge tray in the sink cabinet (where typically is a false drawer front)
Dish soap dispenser installed in countertop

And concealed in a pantry cabinet is the microwave. We use a french press so that ends up in the dishrack or cabinet. I don't like leaving spices out, since I think they go bad faster... they are best stored in a cool, dry place.

When painting brick, make sure to use the proper paint... brick needs to breath, otherwise moisture can get trapped inside the walls & cause mildew / mold issues.

Commercial code risers are usually 4" Min, 7" Max. You need to have at least 3 steps so you don't have a trip hazard. All risers should be consistent in height.

Then, depending on what the height of the risers are, you can figure out tread depth. A shorter riser requires a deeper tread. A rule of thumb that riser riser tread = 25" or 26". So for 7" risers, your treads would be 10 - 11"; for 4" risers the treads would be 16" -17" (!)

But again, check your local building codes to make sure you are in the ballpark.

Its great for drying spackle wall patches in a hurry, especially if you have to do several layers. You can even secure it to a ladder so you don't have to stand there holding the hair dryer (just be sure to check it regularly).

In mexico they screw 2 hooks into the wall (hit the studs!) to hang them indoors. Just make sure your hardware is rated for the weight of a couple of humans.

These actually are the smallest foldaway guest beds ever... but it takes some time to get used to sleeping in hammocks.

Is this dividing a space, with an open back on one side?

If not, you could go the Ikea kitchen wall cabinet route - They have a 'fan cabinet' that is 23 7/8 w x 17 3/4" h x 12 7/8" deep. You would have to put in filler strips or build the wall out around the cabinet for a custom look, but it could be done... for about $1700-$2500 (depending on the wood door choice), if you do the labor. If you really need it 11" deep, you could also cut down the cabinet frames pretty easily.

I had a bathroom contractor submit photos of his work recently, and in every single shot with a toilet, the seat was left up! In one shot, it even looked like he forgot to flush.

Needless to say, I didn't hire him... if he doesn't pay attention to detail in his portfolio photos, I imagine he doesn't pay attention to the project overall.

I wonder what all the stalactites do for the sound quality in the room... might be good, since there are no right angles. Hmmmmm.
