Love it. I really enjoyed following the recent home renovation projects. It would be great to have a similar "weekend warrior" concept for Sat/Sun.

Thank you! I just got a used sewing machine and have already begun planning simple projects. I have the cloth for napkins sitting in my drawer at home. Now I have a plan of action!

veedub: I am a huge fan of original windows and doors too but the windows and doors in our house were neglected for many, many years. We had them looked at and there was no salvaging them. I also have a feeling all the doors in the house except the front door (which we're keeping) were replaced with salvaged finds then never installed properly. We get more than drafts... inches of rain water which have rotted things from the inside out! Thanks for the link!!

JG: I can visualize the molding, and yes, it is helpful, thanks.

The cooking station looks great to use. I am a big fan of open storage for pots/pans and heavily used items.

The paper towel roll attached to the ceiling storage really bothers me. But that's my personal preference and I don't have to use the kitchen. I like the other uses of the storage space.

My dog would absolutely love it. We often find her with a piece of laundry tucked in her kennel or even in the laundry basket.

This stuff is intense. I've been known to use one small tub for three breakfasts, I toss cut fruit into it with crushed walnuts, almonds or seeds. Super filling.

Thank you everyone for the great advice and kind words! I plan on sitting down with my husband and running through all of your comments. It seems the majority of folks are pulling for a light and airy color, something either in the soft grey/white or light earthy neutral green family. I couldn't agree more. Thank you!

Emily the Cat: A door and casing are in the works for the frameless entry to the bathroom. Glad to hear it bothers more than just me.

The baseboard is close to what is in the rest of the house, very simple and flat but this particular rendition isn't original. We are adding a very small cap to a 1x6 to mirror the rest of the home. I think what may look a bit off about it is that the vertical molding just stops at the baseboard (plus they are painted two different whites). The rest of the vertical sticks in the house go to the floor. I could be wrong, but we're going to once again change it and go for consistency. A simple 1x6 is also very common as well, as JG mentioned.

Speaking of molding, does anyone have any idea where to find the unique corner pieces? We have several that are broken throughout the home and some that are completely missing. I'll mold them out of clay if necessary because I don't want to loose the rest of them, perhaps not clay.

Any chance on getting the paint colors in master bed/bath photo with green bedroom and blue bathroom walls? I've been toying with this for our renovation, seeing it pulled together it looks great.

What about the idea of "pink" as a powerful color (per 1918 Ladies' Home Journal). I love and have always loved the bold pinks. In fact, my husband is excited to decorate the office in black/white/grey/pink. As a woman I don't feel the need to reject a color I enjoy because it can be used to stereotype. When I was 8, princess meant power. I made the laws, ruled the land and got to dress in awesome clothes. I knew someday when I got older I could be queen. I can see both sides but there is always an other way to look at it.
