I want to make these right now, they look absolutely amazing. And, despite their high class appearance, seem thankfully easy to make! :)

The dried berries are also great in salads - they give a touch of sweetness and a great crunch. If you're in NYC they sell them at the Manhattan Fruit Exchange in Chelsea Market for cheaper than Whole Foods.

Betty Crocker's vegetarian cookbook saved my life in college when I had to cook for my entire meat-eating family - they loved the recipe, and it's easy to adapt for both vegetarians and carnivores.

The recipes are basic interpretations of classic meals, and all the ones I tried were delicious.

How about a pot on the floor, filled with rocks, with bamboo shoots? Put it underneath a very simple hanging lamp and it'll cast interesting shadows and create a reading area. It would also bring in some color without being overwhelming and stick with the clean lines of the room's furniture.

1) Jade
2) Bamboo, one in green and one in tan. Also Fly in the gray midnite combination.
3) I live in a small apartment that has a long (about 20') and wide hallway leading from the living/kitchen area to the main bedroom. It's been unadorned for a year, plain white and boring. I'm planning to buy dark wall-mounted shelves for knick knacks and these decals would be the perfect complement in the remaining space. The lime green bamboo color even matches my painted wall in the living room (it also has bamboo blinds) - how cute would it be to have the green bamboo pieces create a continuity!
