Wow!! Thanks for all the great tips! I really love the look of Anthropologie and West Elm too. I haven't done much shopping (just browsing) on Overstock, but after reading all the recommendations I think I'll take a shot! Also, I've always been curious about The Dump, and I didn't know that there was a Crate and Barrel outlet in NJ... that's GREAT news!! I had the SAME exact problem, and let me tell you... I feel your pain. We tried everything! The window film still allowed for filtered light to come in, so it wasn't a solution for us. We installed vinyl roller shades (fortunately we got them for free on Craigslist). The room is now completely blacked-out. I do have curtains w/ lining, and I left the standard window blinds up mounting the vinyl roller blades in the inner most position within the window frame. My husband and I are sleeping sooo much better. Good luck! Suggestions To Keep Light Out? Good Question |

Where I agree with others that the sisal or grass look would be a nice accent to the already perfectly finished stone, I'm finding it difficult to make sense of placing wallpaper in the bathroom... a place that contains much moisture. I'd be afraid of the paper falling over time. Will Wallpaper Work with Stone Tile? Good Questions |

Honestly, I think the tiles are the best feature in the kitchen, and I think it allows for much potential. I'd definitely give the cabinets a face lift. That white trim sets the whole thing off. I like the idea of painting the backdrop of the cabinets (not the tile) a shade of earthy green. Advice and Inspiration for Updating a Kitchen? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Boston |

I agree with 'I Love Upstate'... the bedroom sheets are a must, but as far as room by room I always start with the kitchen. Moving: What To Unpack First | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |
